Indigo Children, Star Children and Crystal Children Investigated
Indigo Children have been on mainstream television news and in dozens of newspapers. They are generally described as highly intelligent, creative, system busting teen psychics with a bright indigo aura and a mission to save the world.
There are scores of Indigo books and videos. Thousands of web-sites discuss the subject or host forums where Indigos can gather. There are even numerous tie-in products ranging from herbal medicines and dietary regimes to seperate special schools.
Personally I was actually a member of the Beloved Community Indigo cult for a limited period of time many years ago. I was then young, naive and unaware of anything about the groups’ murky origins. There are also many Indigo proponents amongst fringe writers and spiritual speaker’s. It is likely that most of them are unaware of the worrying issues attached to this human phenomenon. It has become clear to me that the vast majority of people involved are like myself innocent dupes. In my personal view the only real good to come out of the Indigo Child movement are the friendships forged between some of the young people involved.
So when did the children start to arrive?
In the original telling from the creators of the subject it all begins around 1982 or just before. Over the years more and often older people realised they too matched up to Indigo characteristics. This caused the start date to appear more flexible. There are sites now saying the new children started appearing around one hundred years ago. I have seen references to Jesus having been an early Indigo child. Everybody would like to feel included in something special happening that is is only natural.
So how do you tell Indigo people from other children or adults?
It is easy enough you just take a look at the list of Barnum statements below, match up to enough and hey presto you’re an Indigo. Being intuitive was generally considered a major characteristic in the early days but seems to have been replaced by strong empathy.

Assuming you match around twenty or so statements it’s time to buy yourself a book on what foods to feed your-self and an anger management CD.
Barnum Statements are lists of general characteristics used in psychology experiments. They are used to demonstrate the way in which humans tend to see very specific personal interpretations amidst extremely vague descriptions. They can very basically describe nearly any person. There has never been a rigorous investigation of Indigo children, or any new children. This includes research in neither the fringe or the mainstream communities. Certainly no real surveys or experiments have been publicised on the topic so far.
So how did it all begin?
Back in 1986 a lady named Nancy Ann Tappe wrote a book called ‘Understanding Your Life Thru Color’ which explained how she had started to see certain children surrounded by an Indigo energy field. Nancy first made this observation during the late 1970s or early 1980s. Nancy Tappe is described with having a rare brain disorder named syneasthesia. This condition mixes up information from the five normal senses allowing such weirdness as hearing shapes or tasting sounds. Nancy therefore had the ability to see colours where others would certainly not do so. This condition was recorded in her book as being a contributory factor alongside her psychic abilities.
Let us take a look at two interesting quotes from her book that will be helpful later:
“The life color is the single color of the aura that remains constant in most people from the cradle to the grave. There are a few people who change their color but this is rare. The life color establishes a focus for the entire lifetime, similar to having a major in college. Every life color carries with it assets as well as liabilities. In addition the mental and physical colors seldom change. The combination of these three colors together create a ‘baseline person’ for this lifetime. Usually each universal age is accompanied by a preponderance of people with that life color. For instance now most adults are either Blue or Violet, the two colors with the attributes most needed in this the Violet Age of transition. During the next age, the Indigo Age, Indigo colors will be the norm.”
[BF: Note that she speaks about past universal ages with different life colours. She was not alive in them and is merely taking this idea from Theosophy teachings]
“As one observes the Indigo lust for life and joy in living it is impossible to believe that there is impending doom for humankind. These bright eyed children and young adults seem to be the forerunners to a wonderful time and place in the future.”
It was not just Nancy Tappe that saw great ‘potential’ in the coming of the Indigo children. Well-known new-age figures Lee Carroll and Jan Tober offered supernatural confirmation of the arrival of the highly evolved indigo aura children. For those not familiar with his work Lee Carroll is the channel for the supposed multidimensional entity named ‘Kryon of Magnetic Service’. Kryon is the supposed creator of a magnetic grid system surrounding our planet, and wants us all to receive special implants. Lee Carroll claimed that with some help from Kryon’s magnetic personality [groan] he had been aware of the new children since 1989. It was in 1999 that he finally decided to write ‘The Indigo Children: The New Kids Have Arrived’.
The Indigo Children book founded a large new Indigo movement within the new-age. This sub-group has come to dominate the greater new-age movement itself. Realising how ‘rewarding’ it would be to work with the new ‘global problem solving’ children, a plethora of new-age guru’s lined up to offer a hand. Most notable amongst them were further famous self-proclaimed entity channels, Jimmy Twman, Neale Donald Walsch and Doreen Virtue.
These gurus and others added some new jargon which further complicated the subject. They certainly all made considerable sums of money from the purported new phenomena. Each based their work wholly on the first Indigo Children book. Claimed channelling abilities gave them a way to later tailor the descriptions and messages regarding the new children in totally unverifiable forms. Many other notable figures have also been involved over time. 
Jimmy Twynman (alias Fagin) discovered that it was optimal for the indigo children to have mental or physical conditions. Very often he would organise severely disabled children to get involved with expensive psychic readings. Helped by an invisible secret Bosnian wisdom cult and further financed by his pay on demand channelled messages from Jesus, he soon had the money to buy a nice little cult centre. Jimmy Twyman also got his friend the, famous new-age author Neale Donald Walsch, to collaborate on an Indigo Child movie project. Walsch then encouraged his friend the established film producer Stephen Simon to assist.
Being a member of the beloved community I recall many more interesting issues and instances of corrupt behaviour but will leave those for the moment. I was already naturally highly intuitive at that time. This is largely why I saw through many of the problems in the subject matter. In recent times the topic has grown increasingly cryptic as confusing new variations such as the Crystal, Star and Octarine children are being ‘recognised’ by entity channels such as Steve Rother and The Group (alias The Nine).
Ten years and several million dollars later Jan Tober, Lee Carroll and Nancy Tappe are back with a new book called ‘Indigo Children Ten Years On’. The posted web information for the book is very interesting. Carroll takes lots of seemingly bitter swipes at the Indigo movie team for profiting from a niche market that he created. Carroll criticises all the Indigo Internet sites dealing with the subject and then comes out with a real jawbreaker. He reveals that the Indigo movie was wrong largely because it incorrectly claimed the children were positive, intuitive and had Indigo auras!
Apparently everyone today has got it all wrong because Lee Carroll now says, “The Indigo title has nothing to do with auras or being psychic”.
He then adds that many of the evolved children are in fact, “…teenagers who are strapping on bombs or bringing guns to school.”
Carroll makes it clear that he wants to remove the word psychic from Nancy Tappe on wikipedia and in reference to new varieties says of Tappe that, “she is firm in her statement that there are no new colors”. [Since 1982]
Huh?
Did we miss something somewhere there?
What about the ten years of new-age feeding frenzy the original book initiated and the thousands of sites now stating the new children were highly intuitive, passionate system busters with Indigo auras?
Important to ask is why they waited so long to supply the corrected information whilst everyone else involved was being misled? [Especially when Gurus pushing the info had working relationships with them]
We also are left wondering how did everything that Lee and Nancy stated originally, end up as the total opposite?
If these writers knew from the start that the only oddities in their evolved special children were personality disorders, everyone that came after them were deliberately fooled or were knowingly dishonest. Personally I think many scholars were naïve and overly willing to trust the original Indigo book. We were all lazy in checking for contradictory claims made about Indigo children. Not only this but the ever-increasing number of self-reported cases of 'Indigo Children' with psychic abilities seemed to reinforce the initial writings.
Examples of just some Indigo contradictions:
1. The children are supposed to stand out because of their behaviour, yet it is also quoted that over 90% of children in school now have the new mutation (whatever it is exactly). How can they stand out if only 1 in 10 does not?
2. The original world saving Indigos are now adults yet the world is worse than ever.
3. The new children apparently have many problems such as anxiety, stress, rage, ADD and ADHD. These could be symptoms brought about by means other than, a rather retarded sounding, leap forward in human evolution (so much for special abilities).
Indigo Conspiracy and Manipulation - The Scary Backstory
If you’re not already shaking your head in despair or utterly confused by the strange twists then here is the real kicker. The Indigo Children phenomenon has been linked to C.I.A. interests as well as the UN and the Pentagon. It is hardly surprising that news of possibly psychic children would be of interest to the men in the shadowy secret service cartels. Such children would be ideal candidates for a line of psy-ops experiments. Failing this they would at least want to interject so as to hamper any complications such children might cause them if left unchecked.
The C.I.A. and the new-age movement have always had some direct links. Some sections of the new-age movement hold beliefs very similar to those of the New World Order occultic groups. Those groups often advise adherents not to fight negative forces or to not even think about such concerns. Clearly most of the people categorised as new-age realise this is terrible advice merely providing an excuse to do nothing about preventable horrors inflicted on humanity.
The Pentagon's division on parapsychology or the Round Table Foundation, certainly took interest in psychic children. The main front man for most of their incredibly devious works was a Dr. Andrijah Puharich. Puharich himself had a background at the heart of the infamous mind control program MKULTRA. His previous work had been on a project that would direct voices into people’s heads at a distance. It is now the basis for the same science American military figures stated had been considered for use in Iraq. This involved beaming a discarnate voice into a person that would claim to be Allah speaking. Another spin off project was the implanted voice receiver within a single tooth.
His team created a channelling cult known as The Nine (supposedly the nine Egyptian gods of the Ennead) to act as their main interface with the new-age movement. Even in its early days the group involved numerous psychics and notable powerful figures. On more than one occasion a new channel would start off talking to entities other than the nine. Puharich would ‘correct’ the channel during the hypnotic trance and thus after that they would always be channelling The Nine. Several of the persons involved with the cult group have remained well-known figures in the fringe arena. Others involved are high level politicians from as far away as Russia. One researcher has noted that over the years more and more people in the new-age movements have claimed they are channelling The Nine.
Puharich was later to run a psy-ops program involving children who would now commonly be referred to as Indigo Children. His mind control and brainwashing experiments were carried out at what some have called the ‘Turkey Farm’. He spoke of the children being able to bring objects into existence from the ether or even teleport themselves. The laboratory eventually burned down and Puharich went into hiding claiming the CIA was after him. The covert organisations were apparently very interested in having special schools for the children. This was so that they would have easier access to them all in one place. That is of course better for ongoing experimentation including brainwashing techniques and parapsychological tests.
Is it then not interesting to note that the original figures whom helped birth the whole Indigo phenomena all have themselves strong links to channelled entities and some with even with world government organisations?
Lee Carroll has himself been invited to speak to the ‘United Nations Society of Enlightenment and Transformation’, formerly the United Nations Parapsychology Society, and six times so far. 
Quote: “The UN's "Meditation Room" is a sort of New Age monument to the many UN-affiliated New Age and occultic groups like the Lucis Trust and the UN's Society for Enlightenment and Transformation. Stained glass near the entrance to the Meditation Room displays pagan symbolism like the god Pan. To those unfamiliar with the UN, such symbolism may seem out of place. But the UN sees religion and mysticism as integral to its plans.
Building "a new world order requires a sense of moral obligation.... We need a spiritual catalyst to bring about change," said Samuel Insanally, a former president of the UN General Assembly.
Former UN Assistant Secretary-General Robert Muller believes that the UN represents the "body of Christ" and that "divine or cosmic government" is the real goal of the United Nations.
The original description of the new children by Nancy Tober, Lee Caroll and their Guru friends was of confident young system busters with indigo auras and intuitive gifts. Then came the list of other more general characteristics. Now those they consider to be the evolved new-age children sound more like a group of children in a mind control program. They are exhibiting the resulting problems we might expect to see de-programmed cult members with compartmentalised minds. The special children are described as suffering chronic psychological conditions and some are even said to be going psycho killer in schools and offices. Insights and intuition are gone; any colours they may have radiated dimmed or disregarded. All very Manchurian Candidate sounding if you ask me.
The glaring red light here seems to be illuminating the fact that suspicious interests have guided the Indigo phenomena from very early on. The spiritual and positive elements are now being firmly pushed aside. Those still involved with the term Indigo Children in respect of gifted intuitive or specific aura colour now risk being tarred with the brush of having made everything up. The fallout from these new indigo revelations is already starting to spread.
Meanwhile, these other very troubled children are now hailed as the great leap forward in human evolution. That is according to the original proponents of the subject. The new emergent characteristics seem to be paranoia, anxiety and sociopathic tendencies born of psychological maladjustment. To me that sound's more like the type of new citizen brought about by mind altering chemicals, intense authoritarian pressures and thought modification experiments rather than any evolution of body or consciousness.
We have been naïve enough to believe the shady characters known best as the New World Order would allow a situation possibly dangerous to their plans to continue unchecked. They are in my opinion trying to stop the revolution in consciousness now beginning to occur largely within the younger generation. Where they can’t so easily access the more free thinking older individuals involved they attempt to cause confusion and division.
The NWO types are always playing the long game. When we see what they are doing it is already two leaps further beyond that. Their actions are always seeding further desired future events. Examples of this can be seen with the invasion of Afghanistan. By the time anyone became suspicious of motive the event had already set up an invasion of Iraq, the inevitable destabilising of neighbouring Pakistan and opened the road to war with Iran. Just imagine nuclear armed Pakistan falls under the sway of radical Taliban militants, which some experts predict will occur within three months. [Shiver]
In the case of the new-age movement the puppeteers had been well aware of two ancient prophecies that deeply concerned them. They, as with the Nazis, are deeply involved with mysticism and occult practices by their own admissions. They take such things as prophecy far more seriously than the average citizen.
Firstly they feared the ancient Maya prophecy predicting the return of The Nine gods or energy forces around year 2012. These same nine forces are described by several other ancient cultures including the Egyptians. Secondly they feared the prophecies of the indigenous peoples of North America such as the Hopi Prophecy, which predicted a coming generation of gifted spiritual warriors set to put right the wrongs done to the planet. There is no prophecy about evolved Indigo aura children, but rather just of awakened humans stopping them.
The opposing interests used a well-tried strategy known as divide and rule. Stage one was the creating of a popular channelling cult, which purported to bring messages from Puarich's entities The Nine for distribution into the new-age movement. Of course this man specialising in beaming voices into others heads at a distance had initiated the project. The second stage was the creation of a movement that would initially closely resemble the one prophesised by the indigenous tribes. This then allowed these people more opportunity to study and take control of the direction of any young people involved and anyone in the fringe community trying to genuinely assist.
What could be more hampering to the broader consciousness change movement than two different groups being referred to as Indigo Children (with completely differing descriptions) and two separate sets of opposing spiritual forces both referred to as The Nine?
Inevitably confusion would occur. In fact the entire Indigo Children characteristic testing seems designed to confuse young people leaving them unsure whether they themselves are indeed a part of the special generation at all.
Alice in wonderland: “If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?”
We must stop this slide into chaos that has seemingly been carefully engineered from the get go. We must remove any elements of this movement that have been created by shady characters with doggie links. The indigo characteristic lists and indigo aura test questionnaires need to be immediately removed from all sites. They are suspect and divisive. The very term Indigo Children is misleading and separatist.
The original indigenous prophecies for the current special generation did not limit the movement to either a single aura colour or a specific list of psychological traits. Not surprisingly it was in fact a simple and fully inclusive message open to all ages. It allowed the individual a very simple mechanism for self-recognition and a heartening message of unity for all those feeling the wake up call, no matter what their aura colour or nationality.
It is important to remember that the opposing forces are perhaps not overtly manipulating the vast majority of the people that refer to themselves as Indigos. Many of the indigo groups are started by good people and therefore essentially have been helpful for the greatest part, despite the imbedded confusions. For this reason some Indigo subscribers may not at first believe what I am saying and will need to read all my sources in depth. These people need to remember that not everyone has been fortunate enough to develop their intuition or land in a more progressive group.
It is time for all those with spiritual knowledge, wisdom and genuine spiritual or psychic experiences to unite in assisting newcomers. Not just the young need welcoming, but all those waking from their slumber as energy frequencies shift. Let us not forget the wonderful job many of our conspiracy researchers have done and the work of many inspiring spiritual writers. We need to weed out the deliberately confusing data immediately and present the most welcoming and helpful message possible, which also happens to be inline with genuine ancient prophecies.
My conclusions is that the Indigo Children subject is likely wholly created by the CIA and directed by the New World Order. It's main Guru's are suspicious characters recieving channeled messages from goodness knows whom. It has mislead thousands of people and created division under the banner of community (it is a sub-community only). There is most certainly no such thing as an Indigo child. If you beleive there is then who can blame you? After all the CIA have put lots of time and effort into mastering this mind manipulation project and suckering good folk into it.

Hi David,
Thank you for taking the time to comment. I expect we would have much in common as I have also worked as a professional psychic reader, am a Reiki healer and writer on the mystery subjects. I also would not dismiss the idea that there are star people taking incarnations on this planet at this time (probably always some doing that).
The problem with Indigo is it really has begun to mean less and less. It is just a dumb list on a load of web sites and then a whole mixed bag of information and crazy Indigo products (also expensive).
I have a feeling any star people incarnated would be as worried by the current Indigo Movement’s confusion as I myself am. Though you use the term Indigo yourself, which is your right of free will, I would see you rather as a gifted energy worker. Personally I have dropped the Indigo part as it has to much junk attached to it.
Hopefully you will already see I am not dismissing the idea of various gifted souls on our planet. Quite the opposite I think there are millions of them just that to try and cram them all into the Indigo box is not helpful. There are numerous aura colours and each has a gift to offer. There are numerous soul origins each add to the picture.
If one person is gifted and special then we all are.

This article in informative but sucks. I have an 18yr old who has had severe OCD for over 10years. Someone is “spiritually” trying to help him and recently told me he was an Indigo. I’d never heard of it. I researched it thought it might really be my son..now you tell me its fake. This whole gifted, healers, clarevoyants…etc is confusing to the point of doubting it trully exists. Aarrgghh!!

I don’t know anything about your son of course but I don’t see why him being OCD should mean anything more than just that, unless there is more to the story.
It is factual that many children today are gifted and that numerous individuals have incredible spiritual abilities. What is not relevant is the label Indigo as it stems from a fraud and a CIA operation.

Bear in mind that being a big name in the new age gets you a lot of money and power…it is a risky position and not always one held by honest spiritual people.

Anything spiritual becomes something else when money gets involved. And lots of people will contribute to the confusion by deciding they are this out of some desire to be part of a movement. And parents will decide their kids are this. And the promoters and fakes will make it all look fake and turn it into a fad. Which maybe isn’t the worst thing that could happen because it does make people want to be the spiritual beings they are. But if a kid / person is this energy, he / she will know it when they’re ready to know it. I just found out about indigo. Someone asked if I was indigo. I read a few articles (including this one) and confusions fell into place. I recognized a truth I knew about the energy that is me and for the next few days I just kept saying, so that’s why I do / did that! I don’t believe any person or test can tell you what / who you are, it’s something you just know from within. And you quietly wear the shoes of the warrior you are without making a big deal about it. Gotta say, I love the word indigo, it just feels nice, so I’m going with it. Personally I think the real spirits of this energy will just BE and in doing that, elevate and bring light in whatever function they hold in society. We don’t need to be physically standing side by side in army fashion to do what we do. :))

Someone always has to trash beautiful things. The association with the CIA is totally stupid. Mankind finds a way of uniting people through the Indigo people and someone who cannot completely identify with it comes along and spoils it. This sort of negative energy is to be avoided at all costs and we must stand together both spiritually and in any other ways we can to help the changes that are soon to be here with us in the great forthcoming transition.

By “this sort of negative energy must be avoided at all costs” don’t you really mean “we should immediately stop questioning, stop thinking critical thoughts, stop digging into the origins of what we’re buying into”? I read this article, and it’s well researched and gels with the vibes I’ve gotten from many New Age groups. You provide hysterical propaganda in your post. And the “great forthcoming transition” could very well be the New World Order that these shady elites want. I fit the “Indigo” profile as well as HSP, ADD, Bipolar but it all can be explained by my horoscope which i have studied for a while. I have participated in conversations with other “Indigos” who also state that they dislike to label themselves as being ……. <- fill in the dots.
I do not think the CIA has created the Indigo movement i do think they took advantage of it and probably stimulated certain ideas to mislead people. I also firmly believe there are a lot of charlatans out there (also within the astrology scene) who are in it for the dirty cash. I mean BIG DUHH!!! that certainly isn’t so difficult to see i mean anybody with some common sense and IQ Above 100 is able to see when they use there upper chamber for what it is meant to be.
I say read and study think for yourself and make up your own mind and definitely don’t believe the hype because it’s a…. Public Enemy WOOOHAAA!!!
Let’s Hope the Hopi where right and indeed we are in a phase where people nomather which label they wear BIG SMILY are waking up and see how they have been mislead and take responsibility and action.. True Menno, there’s a “comorbidity” of “Indigo” and a whole range of mental illnesses, many of which are likely made up or at least exaggerated by drug companies for profit. The problem is there’s also charlatans inventing labels for (surprise) more profit (I think the Crystal and other label phenomena are particularly obvious examples of charlatans inventing labels out of thin air). There’s one particularly obvious con artist named Jelaila Starr (not even her name is real, it’s Jocelyn Kelly), who talks about 12 stranded DNA and Nibiruans a 1/4 the time, another 1/4 the time she talks about “symptoms” of ascension, and the other half she talks about making money. Now, that whole talking about Starseeds, Indigos, Crystal and whatever else as a disease I find particularly odd. There’s a lot of people, usually middle aged white women, who flat out talk about these things like they’re diseases and unhealthy conditions, and frequently talk about numerous physical complaints (sometimes it’s like everyone talking about being an Indigo or Ascension is really just talking about menopause). I don’t agree with labeling people with ADHD and defining them that way, but I find it just as disturbing that labeling is now being done as “Indigo” and “Crystal.”
Roz Rayner, sorry but it’s still pissing me off the way you talk about Indigos and I think you’re making the author even more solidly credible. The author says it’s “separatist” thinking (which I don’t agree with in that each person has a right to personal autonomy, but whatever), and your comment exemplify this. How is it “uniting humanity” when in the very same breath you say people need to trash something because they can’t identify with it? Well, clearly, it’s not “uniting humanity” if a lot of people can’t identify with it. In fact, Indigo is DIVIDING humanity against itself even more with that sort of labeling. You practically said it yourself. You’re creating this imaginary invisible barrier out of NOTHING to separate yourself from the rest of the human race while feeling all elitist about your new label. Is that not precisely the same thing the elites currently doing? You’re being the opposite of your stated intentions, and I think almost the entirety of the NAM has gone down this divisive, empty headed, and destructive path.

Hmm…I was directed here by someone spamming my messageboard on the Indigo website I am a part of with a link to your site. Thank you for providing this article, it was informative and interesting. I will take it with a grain of salt and honest discernment just as I do everything else ‘spiritual’ I encounter. As someone who has rather close ties to agnosticism/atheism – it has been interesting to acknowledge that I am a being having a spiritual experience on this physical plane.
I am different. I have always been different. My brain is balanced more than others brains were in school, my senses have always been wildly overactive, I am a synesthetic (my parents are too, so it’s genetic, maybe?), I did a lot of soul retrival/past live regression in my infant/toddler/early childhood years w/o really understanding that concept on an intellectual level. Yeah, I’m weird. That’s the general term I accept for it. However, I believe in “hue(mans)” as well. I believe that people of all colors of the rainbow coexist and that I just so happen to be in the Indigo vein. My gifts are different than say, a green person’s gifts, but no matter what, both people’s gifts are equally as important, can help make this world a better place. Our job as a human race is to acknowledge that no matter what color we are, that fundamentally, we are all the same and that our power lies in our strength as the whole and not as the parts.
I am quite discerning about materials and yes, I get a funny feeling about the “money making side” to the Indigo movement. However, it resonates with me on a gut level and I came to that conclusion, not based on some books or websites but rather through my own consciousness, fueled by self-discovery. It can be a lonely place playing on your own but luckily, it also gives me the confidence that I find my own truths regardless of what’s put in front of me.
I’m not too worried. I think that the world is a very amazing place, changing just as much as anyone else is, and that we are in for many interesting surprises in the coming years. We’ll just have to wait and see.

indigo is a real aura colour. there is just a big (& retarded) hype about it…it’s nothing special, really. Just another colour in the auric rainbow which people are making money off of. there may be an influx of these people, but there have been people throughout the ages that have had indigo auras. everyone thinks that their snotty-nose brats are special when they really aren’t – they’re just the larva of human-kind. This specialness that we attribute to our offspring is a mechanism for their survival. Believing they are special is important because we are then inclined to give them the necessary love and care in order for them to grow and further the race. Unfortunately, people just don’t know where to draw the line and they’ll jump at anything to make their kid seem more important to others (which no else cares). Some may be in fact be indigos….but there are also several other colours that are equally as special and important. So, placing overly-hyped “special emphasis” on a child can backfire in their future when they realize they aren’t anymore special than the guy next to them – whether the guy is a bum or a king or the pope. everyone is equal. some realistic and healthy skepticism is always good, but to say indigo doesn’t exist is essentially just kidding yourself. Instead of worrying about colour we should be concerned with waking people out of their ignorant ‘sheeple’ states.

Partial truth is always used to form a lie. The indigo movement along with “The new age” is all based on population control. Further more, our minds work as frequency receivers and we all pick up information based what we chose to perceive or are currently focused on. This is all part of the new age holocaust soon to take place.
Don’t get me wrong though, we are all energetic beings in a physical body, but that’s not the point… not at all. It is this sole concept that is being taking advantage of. Spend time with your family…

I am saddened to see Nancy Tappe dragged through this mud. I believe you have made some very valid points in regards to Lee Carroll and Jan Tober. Nancy has worked with them, or should I say they have worked with her. I’ve known Nancy Tappe as a friend for over 25 years. She is as much a student as a teacher. She can only learn and report on what is presented to her. She has NOT made “millions” or anything like that from her books or workshops. She has Synethesia and does not need to prove that to anyone. It has been as much a curse as a gift and in her early years felt very alone with this condition. I believe she is as shocked and saddened by things children are doing as anyone. Her teachings seem to have been hijacked and scammers seem to be actively crediting her with things she’s never said in an effort to “sell” themselves. You also imply that she is a co-author of this new book but the credited authors are in fact Lee Carroll and Jan Tober. An interview with Nancy (as well as multiple others) appears to be the extent of her involvement. I also doubt Nancy had the right to edit the interview. I would encourage you to meet Nancy Tappe before slandering her. She is a gracious, gifted woman and I count myself lucky to know her.

I happened upon your website via looking up “chemtrails”. I’m a teacher, for over 20 years, & my co-workers & I have many times wondered out loud about the alarming increase in ADHD, ADD and autistic students. I have this year in my classroom 2 very defiant, obstinate students who have tantrums and fits of rage. It has been, & is very difficult for the other students students to feel safe & learn in such and environment. I appreciate your article and the information of the history of all of this. It gives me something to speculate on.

Indigo is not made up stuff nor is it anything new. You can find example of what we now call Indigo throughout history. I have been held in many esteems, some good and some bad. Truth is Indigo is a word used to replace Humanitarian Visionaries. King, Kennedy, Gandhi, Princess Diana, and others known and not known. The label Indigo was given or supported by powers to undoubtedly deal with the humanitarian movement of modern day. The powers only care to control us as they have every sect of society through means of various tools throughout history. I wrote my life story to help restore humanity piece by piece by peace. The powers picked on the wrong 5 year old. If they would pick on me, a white male caucasion, what makes anyone think they have boundaries is beyond me.

True Spiritual people have a very specific trait that all of these sites concerning “being special” seem to miss. It is being humble. And not looking above or below another…
A truly enlightened soul will not except an type of title or claim of importance in comparison to another. All those that have come to this planet that have been truly that way are humble, simple, not judgmental, do not care about titles or catagories. They walk in the dirt like everyone, they represent the core of humanity. Not one that has been of The truth, would have ever allowed others around them to place any type of catagory on them. They are quiet, non aggresive. I believe that alot of this stuff is based in arrogance. Parents who would like the world to hail them as just as important for having the child. And, The children, who like all children in the history of children, have strived to be important, find their way. These titles are 3 dimensional and only of this world. this is why you would probably not ever see or hear of a 4th + dimensional being giving much of a rats butt about a title or placement for themselves. Only humans focus on such things. Angels don’t and God certainly does not. This is all apart of the have and have not system.
How would you like it if someone came into your childs school and walked into their class. And in a few minutes seperated that classroom into two groups. Those who are “indigo, crystal…..” and those who are unfortunatly not so advanced. It would be ok as long as your child was in the “right Group”. To catagories like this is saying that some have it and some do not…. if this was not the case then there would be no need for explanations and descriptions…. all would be considered Indigo, crystal. Because they are saying that they are “new” or the next generation, this means that not all children get to be so lucky. If your child was in that room, and was placed in the group of less than spiritually enlightened kids, how would you feel. Let me guess, your child would never be in that group. The next comment is, you just don’t know me child. The third would be to become defensive, angry, speak of all the reasons why this is not correct…. ect. This is what ego is.
Not until all are seen with the grace that they have from God will this planet really become enlightened/
This is not to say that many children have come to this earth to help. All children are here to help. That is what a child does. Like when you were a child. Talents, gifts, are apart of the creative force in life. I am not debating the concept of those who may understand things in a different way. I just have seen to many people become wrapped up in the contest of proving their child is better than another. They will say that is not what they are doing. But, all you have to do, is watch them from a distance. You will see the truth in how they speak, what choices they make in interactions with others, their attitudes, arrogance. The truth is not difficult to see when you open your eyes.
Many people around me claim me to be one of these special kids… although I am 36. They make a big deal out of this and frankly, I get very tired of hearing about myself, people focusing on me…….

Pretty funny. Even if such a children would exist ( hardly possible, but Who knows ) They would be wiser than some foolish politics so how its possible to controll them ? Anyway..I wish for this world to develope somehow & to people with power to Serve society. It’s they role. not to rule us but to do their best but it’s to difficult for some, hahahahahahahahahaha

Interesting write up. I found that as the movements gain momentum, I just become more skeptical and this is coming from someone who is intuitive and sensitive. I started getting suspicious because new words kept cropping up segregating people into groups. I think that it detracts from the whole since people who aren’t “special” will think they don’t have anything to do or leave it up to the “special” ones. Indeed in our time on earth many spiritual leaders have led people, but the thing is that now is the time to all be responsible and conscious of what we are doing as a whole. I thing is a ploy to distract people from really evolving into the next spiritual level. They identify with the characteristics and then don’t put effort in since they know they’re special. Sometimes I even think such traits condone misbehavior and just chaos. Teenagers and younger children are easily swayed by stuff like this so they won’t know until they are too caught up. You got to take a step back and think really what’s going on. You can’t go on what I or anyone else say unless you examined it yourself. Walking around saying I’m a this and that is doing nothing for the planet. There are many people who are empathic, sensitive, etc…However, I still say that identifying yourself in such a group as indigo, crystal, rainbow, etc…could be misleading. Parents will decide “oh, my children are special,” no we aren’t perfect and to say such people don’t have the human imperfections when we incarnate because they belonged to a group or whatever is bull crap. It’s total bull crap because you have to work at it. Consciousness and spirituality doesn’t just stop because you decide that that’s it. It’s a constant stream that flows and I believe when you incarnate on Earth you decided that there’s still more you want to see and learn. I find this whole rainbow, crystal, and indigo thing a bit of a sham. I’m on the weary side of it. I’m not going to deny that there might be more individuals out there more spiritually awaken, but that has always been the case.

First off, I want to thank the author for taking the time to write up such an informative article, as well as the people who have left comments on this board. I learned of many things in areas which I had already been aware yet not fully informed, and it is nice to hear a like-minded individual’s opinions on a matter that I constantly think of and try to learn about. I have always felt a part of a larger entity, who’s purpose has seemingly let itself more apparent as of late, ever since I can remember even as an infant. I have always been fairly intuitive, and been aware for almost as long that intuition does not work for personal gain. It seems every life lesson I have learned, has led me to be more compassionate and supportive of others, versus my natural animal instinct for survival aspects or worldly possessions. I have never been without fault, nor have I ever claimed or thought myself to be. I strive for and sometimes achieve balance much more than many other people, but still I am very human, and make plenty of humanly mistakes. I am 22, and have learned a vast amount about myself and my surrounding environment, this planet, more rapidly since I was an early teen. I feel something large coming, a change, not necessarily good, not necessarily bad. And this was before hearing the Mayan prophecies (or any others).
I have experimented with psychedelics, not that I condone or suggest such use, but I have felt a message each time. It has helped me see into myself, know what I am made of, and each time I feel closer to understanding my purpose. It shows me my surroundings as they are to be seen. This year, I have almost been directly shown that the trail head to my path will be revealed very soon. I have been told before that I have an indigo aura, I have also met another member of my bloodline (which hasn’t happened since I attended family reunions halfway across the country as a child), who also claimed to be of the same aura, and told me that it runs in our blood. And this was with me arguing to him against the whole idea, full of doubt. I do agree now, after some inner searching and after speaking with my brother recently, that indigo people do exist, mostly in the sense they are thought to.
I also find it very obvious that an entity such as the New World Order, which has been in existence much longer than most people let on, would want to take advantage of and thwart any subject matter such as this. These are a people that are solely trying to change the world for their own selfish causes, not the greater good of human kind, or any other species on this planet for that matter. I feel as if I need to somehow hinder their progress, in any way possible. I feel as if this may be one of my greater purposes here in this existence. Yet, I do not know how to go about this, so I patiently wait and listen, watch and learn.
My brother recently started an auto repair shop at which I work with him and struggle to keep it open. It is here that I feel more satisfied than any other “job” I have held. Being just off a major interstate, I have the advantage of seeing all types of people, in all types of situations. I am able to help when I can, and strive to lend a hand wherever possible (sometimes doing work for free). Doing this allows me to feel more complete, yet somehow more humble. And so, I will continue to do so, until another calling makes itself apparent to me, and I get closer to spiritual satisfaction. I just hope that others who awaken will take to leading by example, it is then and only then that humanity will be in the right state of mind to unite and resist evil forces.

Despite my negative review of the indigo children business, that does not change the fact that there are genuinely a number of people here at this time with a predominance of the colour indigo in their aura. Like you I also have that predominance of indigo, I am also a natural psychic. There is a genuine side to this subject area but the indigo children material on the internet is mostly confused or deceiving. Also I think it is fair to guess their have always been numbers of such people on this planet at any one time. There is also no doubt that prophecy such as that of the Rainbow Warriors predict a time when a generation will be born that take the task of saving mother earth from the evil ones. This is a personal mission of mine and I except the prophecy as my own task at this time, in this life incarnation. If you feel that your here to do the same then it is heartening to meet a fellow brother, a fellow Rainbow Warrior.
